Meet Esther Wilkison

MA, LPCC

Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, Esther Wilkison gained valuable experience working with people in various life stages. She got to know hundreds of children and teens as a teacher, youth leader, camp counselor, and mentor. She worked with adults as an international speaker, educational consultant, and learning coach, training teachers and homeschooling parents. For over a decade, Esther worked with older adults as a caregiver.
Esther completed her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary to become more equipped as a guide for those navigating trauma and overwhelm.

Away from the counseling office, Esther enjoys connecting with friends, writing, walking, and biking. She takes every opportunity possible to be in or near the ocean.

Behind Lifeguard Counseling

Esther launched Lifeguard Counseling to provide a no-shame, hoped-based approach to children, teens, and adults. Here, you will be seen, known, and supported as you learn to align with your strengths, values, and purpose. Esther has the compassion and insight that comes from overcoming her own overwhelm. Instead of continuing to be pounded by those waves, Esther can help you develop the skills you need to ride the waves that are trying to pound you down.
